Recently, a delegation from Brazil's National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (Inmetro) visited GAC Group. As a key component of GAC's energy ecosystem, GAC Energy participated in this technical exchange and cooperation seminar.
During the exchange, both sides held in-depth discussions on strategic topics including battery regulatory policies, electric vehicle charging infrastructure standards, and energy efficiency testing methodologies. These topics closely align with GAC Energy's strategic direction of building an integrated solar-storage-charging-swapping energy supply network and a battery circular utilization ecosystem, with "electricity + battery" at its core.
Brazil is the world's sixth-largest automotive market and a strategic pillar for GAC's global expansion. GAC has officially launched the "Brazil Action" plan, entering the Brazilian market with a full-industry-chain approach. As the platform for the Group's energy business, GAC Energy is accelerating the development of a nationwide energy supply network across Brazil. Inmetro, as Brazil's national authority for metrology, quality, and standards, plays a pivotal role in electric vehicle charging station certification and battery regulatory framework development. This exchange has laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between both parties in areas such as standard alignment and technical mutual recognition for Brazil's energy infrastructure.
Looking ahead, GAC Energy will continue to deepen exchanges and collaboration with Inmetro and all sectors in Brazil. Guided by the "ecological globalization" approach, we aim to inject innovative momentum into Brazil's new energy industry and help Brazilian consumers embrace green mobility. We look forward to joining hands with Brazilian partners to write a new chapter in China-Brazil new energy cooperation!
